Status of Employment:
  • Temporary Full-time Position 
Position Expectations:

Reporting to the Program Supervisor this position is responsible for:

  • Working with little or no supervision
  • Consulting with the program supervisor or designate
  • Demonstrating flexibility and creativity
  • Following health, safety and agency procedures
  • Being a team player with a positive attitude, good communication and well developed documentation skills
  • Representing VALID professionally in the community
  • Attending staff meetings
  • Monitoring and using security equipment 
  • Resolving problems and conflicts as they arise
Qualifications:
  • Security certificate or related experience
  • Current First Aid/CPR
Requirements:
  • A minimum of Grade 12
  • Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance and be able to drive VALID owned vehicles
  • Criminal Record Check, Child Welfare Check, Driving Record Check (Abstract)
Wage:  as per wage grid
