Allison Steeden: Complex Needs Program Supervisor

Allison Steeden is the program supervisor of the complex needs programs that VALID supports.  She has 16 years of experience in the field, with a focus on complex needs and Autism.  Allison has completed post secondary programs in disability studies, health care aide and hotel management.

Allison is passionate about growing and constantly learning, and is currently a trauma informed care instructor.  She has been leading her teams for six years, and prides herself in supporting her teams at the same level that she supports the individuals and the agency as a whole.

Personally, Allison enjoys all sports, especially if they involve water, is passionate about nature conservation, and animal rescues.  Allison is experienced in all modalities of equestrian sports, has three dogs, two of which are therapy dogs, and supports animal assisted therapy for individuals with disabilities.
